Veteran Malayalam actor Mammootty shares first poster of Dominic and The Ladies’ Purse on 73rd birthday

His younger brother also acted in Malayalam films. Mammootty has also appeared in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi language films.

New Delhi: Veteran Malayalam actor Mammootty is celebrating his 73rd birthday today. On this special occasion, the Malayalam actor also shared the Poster of his upcoming film Dominic and The Ladies’ Purse.. The film also marks the debut of Tamil Director Gautham Menon in the Malayalam Film Industry.

In the poster, the veteran actor is dressed in a bathrobe with a woman’s black handbag kept behind and a cat is following him as he enters out of the poster. Most of the film was shot in Kochi and parts of Munnar and is about to finish.

However, the release date of the film is yet to be announced. Apart from the Malayalam actor the film also features Gokul Suresh, Lena, and Pachuvum Adbhutavilakam actor Viji Venkatesh in pivotal roles.

Meanwhile, his fans also took to Twitter to wish their favorite actor on his birthday.

The Veteran was born in Chandiroor. He was raised in a middle-class Muslim family. His father had a wholesale garment and rice business and was also involved in rice cultivation.

He was the eldest son in the family and his mother was a housewife. He has 2 younger brothers and 3 younger sisters. He went to a Government School for his Primary education.

He graduated with an LLB and practiced Law for 2 years. He resides in Koshi with his family. His younger brother also acted in Malayalam films. Mammootty has also appeared in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi language films.
