New Delhi: The much-awaited film ‘Sam Bahadur’ will the screen on December 1st. The film is directed by Meghna Gulzar, and film stars Vicky Kaushal, Fatima Sana Sheikh, and Sanya Malhotra. The team of the film also arrived in the National Capital for the launch event. Actor Vicky Kaushal also posted an update on his Instagram account. Actress Sanya Malhotra also posted an update on her Instagram saying, ‘Delhi Gaye hain google par andha vishwas krte hue’. The movie revolves around the life of Sam Manekshaw who served as an Army chief during the India-Pakistan war of 1971.

Who was Sam Bahadur?
Sam Bahadur was a renowned Indian Army Officer who was known for his contribution during the India-Pakistan war in 1971. He was called the architect of India’s victory during the 1971 war. He was also awarded with Padma Bhushan and a Military Cross. Apart from this, he was also the first Indian Army officer to be awarded the rank of Field Marshall.
The Film will clash with Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal
The film is scheduled to hit the theatres on December 1st and will clash with Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandana’s ‘Animal’ The clash between the two filmsn also build an excitement among fans. The teaser says “Ek soldier ke liye uski jaan se zada keemti hoti hai uski izzat…uski wardi…aur ek soldier apni wardi ki izzat ke liye apni jaan bhi de sakta hai ( For a soldier, his uniform and his honour is more valuable than his life and for the respect of his uniform, a soldier can give up his life too),” Vicky Kaushal as Sam Manekshaw says in the teaser, motivating the soldiers.
