Viduthalai Part 2 OTT Release Date: Vetrimaaran directorial Tamil flick Viduthalai Part 2, which is the direct sequel to his 2023 release political thriller Viduthalai Part 1 is all set to test its luck on the digital screens in the coming days.

Featuring veteran actor Vijay Sethupathi and Soori as its main leads, the period action drama, which premiered in the theaters on December 20th, 2024 is officially poised to land on Zee5 on January 17th, 2025, offering fans a chance to enjoy it right from the comfort of their homes.

Plot of the Movie

Continuing things from where they were left in its prequel film, Viduthalai Part 2, which is based on B. Jeyamohan’s short story Thunaivan, focuses on separatist chief Perumal Vaathiyar’s clash with Kumaresan, a newly recruited constable who has finally captured the former with the help of his team.

Circling the tale of Perumal’s Rise & fall as the leader of the People’s Movement, the film Simultaneously makes an attempt to explore various themes including injustice, cast-based discrimination, and morality.
