New Delhi: After a long gap of 7 years, Pakistan’s singing virtuoso Atif Aslam is all set to make a comeback in the Bollywood film Industry.
As per the reports, the superstar singer is all set to be a part of an upcoming Hindi flick Love Story Of 90s (LSO90s) which is scheduled to hit the theaters by the second half of 2024. The film is helmed by ace director Amit Kasaria & is going to feature Miss Universe Divita Rai and actor Adhyayan Suman as its leading pair.
Meanwhile, amid the fans buzzing about the Aadat Singer’s awaited comeback in the Indian film industry, an old tweet from the musical maestro has started doing rounds of social media.

In the circulating tweet, Atif is seen telling the fans about his departure for the sacred Hajj pilgrimage while commenting on the Indian Government’s decision to revoke the Constitution Article 370 which once gave a special status to the former Indian state of Jammu & Kashmir.
He first talked about his scheduled holy Hajj journey saying, “Happy to share something very big with all of you. Inshallah, I’ll be leaving soon for the most important journey of my life. Before departing for Hajj, I would like to ask for everyone’s forgiveness, be it fans, family, or friends.
The singer then proceeds with his remarks on the Jammu & Kashmir issue and says, ” I strongly condemn the violence and tyranny being conducted against the Kashmiris. May Allah bless the lives of the innocent in #Kashmir and all over the world.”

With Atif’s old re-emerged tweet circulating on social media, netizens are now taking to the comment section, sharing various kinds of reactions on the same. While some are bashing the ace singer for his controversial take on India’s internal matter, others are taking his side and saying that Atif has nowhere mentioned the name of ‘India or Article 370’ in his viral post.
“Is he even talking about Article 370?” wrote one user. Another one added, “Where did you get the tweet he did on Article 370?” A third person stated, “This can’t be tolerated, must take action against this He must not be allowed to work in India”

However, keeping the controversy aside, Atif Aslam remains to be one of the most loved & adored singers of the Indian subcontinent. While the 40- year old famous in Pakistan for giving his voice in several music tracks of TV soaps, movies & Coke Studio, he is celebrated in India for singing numerous melodious songs in a number of Bollywood films.
