New Delhi: Months after a deep fake video of Rashmika Mandanna triggered a massive stir online, the renowned Indian actress, once again, became the target of the misuse of AI deepfake technology.
Just a few days back, a morphed video of the actress posing near a waterfall in a red Bikini emerged on social media. While the viral clip managed to convince many that the person in it was indeed Rashmika, some eagle-eyed netizens quickly pointed out that it was an AI-generated fake video with Pushpa actress’ face superimposed on another girl’s body.
Truth of Rashmika Mandanna’s Deep Fake Video
For the unversed, the Video used for creating Rashmika’s deep fake video belongs to a Colombian model Daniela Villareal who uploaded it on her Instagram account back in April 2024.
In the clip, Daneiala, donning a bright red bikini, stood next to a waterfall while posing for the shutterbugs and smiling towards the camera.

Notably, while Rashmika has so far not reacted to this particular deep fake video, she raised major concerns earlier when last year, another deep fake of the actress, showing her entering a lift wearing revealing clothes, went viral on social media & caused a huge outcry in the country.
Later, in January 2024, the 28-year-old also wrote a thank note to police & social media after the authorities nabbed the suspect who allegedly created & circulated her morphed video.

Meanwhile, taking about Rashmika’s Mandanna work front, the actress is all heard up to play Allu Arjun’s leading lady in his upcoming Telugu actioner Pushpa: The Rise which is slated to hit the screens on 15 August 2024.
Besides that, the South Indian diva will also star opposite Salman Khan in his recently announced project Sikandar. Directed by AR Murugadoss, the movie will be released next year on Eid under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.
