‘Waltair Veerayya’ Trailer: Chiranjeevi, Ravi Teja starrer action-thriller to be ‘epitome of mass’ (WATCH)

New Delhi: The theatrical trailer for ‘Waltair Veerayya’, starring Chiranjeevi and Ravi Teja, has been released by Mythri Movie Makers. The film will be served as a massy Telugu action-thriller on Sankranti to the fans. The makers are calling it to be the ‘epitome of mass’ as Megastar Chiranjeevi and Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja are collaborating with Shruti Haasan as the leading lady.
The trailer has a grand entry for Chiranjeevi, who is shown on a boat smoking a cigarette. While he is busy singing and dancing alongside Shruti in Malaysia, his people are in trouble and he has to return to fight for them. Meanwhile, Ravi Teja plays a police officer and showcases his action skills.
The film stars Rohit Pathak in a negative role, playing a pirate who fights Chiranjeevi. ‘Waltair Veerayya’ also features Catherine Tressa and Bobby Simha, along with Urvashi Rautela for a dance number.
The most exciting part of the film is that Chiranjeevi plays a fisherman and Ravi Teja plays the egoistic ACP, who tries to stop his fisherman friend’s wrong deeds.
The story and the dialogues of the film are written by the director K.S. Ravindra aka Bobby Kolli, while the screenplay is penned by Kona Venkat and K Chakravarthy Reddy.
While the film is expected to be a blockbuster hit, it will face some competition from other Mythri Movie Makers’ film ‘Veera Simha Reddy’ and it may clash with Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Varisu’.
