New Delhi: Bollywood actor Neetu Chandra recently revealed a shocking details, said that a businessman asked her to become his “salaried wife” and was ready to pay Rs 25 lakh.

Neetu Chandra has worked in films like Oye Lucky Lucky Oye, Garam Masala and several other  films. In a recent interview, she said her story is a “failure story of a successful actor”.

She also opened up on rejection’s, without mentioning anyone’s name, she said that a quite famous casting director told her within an hour of  audition, ‘I am really sorry Neetu, this is not working out.’

Neetu also broke in tears, and questioned if the worth of someone’s work is appreciated only after their death.

She further said that despite working with 13 National Award winners, she has no work and feels unwanted in the industry.

“Meri story ek successful actress ki failure story hai,” said Neetu Chandra to Bollywood Hungama.

It was in 2005 that Neetu Chandra her acting debut in Bollywood with the movie Garam Masala, co-starring Akshay Kumar and John Abraham.

Neetu also owns her own production house Champaran Talkies and has so far produced two films, Deswa and  Mithila Makhaan. Also, her movies like Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye! and Mithila Makhaan  has won National Awards.

In 2021, Neetu made her Hollywood debut with the film Never Back Down: Revolt.
