New Delhi: Udaariyan actress & BB 17 fame Isha Malviya recently jumped in the support of her co-contestant Munawar Faruqui after paps asked her about Mumbai Police’s FIR against the stand-up comedian’s fan who violated the law by using a drone during Faruqui’s recently held road show in Dongri.
For the uninitiated, Munawar, after emerging victorious in Salman Khan’s blockbuster reality show Bigg Boss 17, celebrated his success by holding a massive road in his native area Dongri. His show was attended by thousands of fans who turned up in large numbers and showed their love & support for the stand-up comedian.
However, amidst the celebrations, a few things went out of control as some desperate fans from the crowd encircled the BB 17 winner’s car, causing a little commotion around the Chaar Null area.
As if it was already not enough, one of the stand-up comedian’s fans further invited controversy by illegally using a drone to get a bird eye view of his roadshow. As a result of the same, Mumbai police lodged an FIR against him for the unauthorized use of the drone in the celebration.
Isha Malviya Defends Munawar
Speaking about the FIR on Munawar’s fan, paparazzi, on Thursday asked Isha Malviya to comment on the same. Replying to the shutterbugs, Isha spoke in Munawar’s favor saying, “Munawar ne khud to nahi bulaya hoga. Ab uski jeet ki khushi mein itne sare log apne aap aa gaye toh vo bichara kya kar sakta hai abhi (Munawar himself did not invite this many fans. They all came on their own to celebrate his victory so he shouldn’t be blamed) ).”

Munawar Faruqui’s victory in Bigg Boss 17
Munawar Faruqui, who was one of the strongest contestants of the Bigg Boss 17 house, won the reality show on 28 January after defeating the rest of the four finalists (Arun Mashetty, Ankita Lokhande, Mannara Chopra & Abhishek Kumar) in the recently concluded Grand Finale episode.

The news of his Triumph triggered a wave of happiness amongst his die-hard fans who celebrated the same in various ways throughout Dongri. While some posted videos & pictures of the stand-up comedian, congratulating him for his victory, others burst crackers and gathered on the streets to cheer & celebrate the historic victory of their local boy.
