New Delhi: Renowned Pakistani actress Mahira Khan, who is loved in India for her role in Shah Rukh Khan’s 2016 release Raees, encountered a hostile situation while gracing a recently held literature festival in Quetta.
During the event, an unidentified person from the crowd hurled an object toward Mahira while she was busy interacting with the host & the audience.
Although the bizarre incident left her shocked for a moment, she maintained her composure & handled the situation with maturity. Meanwhile, a video of the incident later went viral on social media and netizens also shared their reaction to the same.

The viral clip sees Mahira pausing while saying a dialogue to the festival’s audience after realizing that someone has thrown something at her from the crowd. She later looks at the thrown object & is heard saying,”(Haww, Ye Galat Hogaya) (Oh, now this is not right).
Following this, we see the host immediately asking the security personnel to identify the culprit before telling Mahira to say a popular dialogue of her movie for the fans.
However, upset over the incident, the 39-year-old denies his request saying, “Nahi ab to dialogue nahi banta an agar Cheeze faik rahe hai app log. (I don’t think I should say any dialogue as the crowd is throwing stuff at me)
Mahira’s Reaction to the Incident
A while after the incident, Mahira also addressed the matter through a social media post. Taking to her official Instagram handle, the Maula Jatt fame criticized the culprit but also made it clear that she won’t judge the 10,000 attendees of the event over one person’s shameless act.
