New Delhi: Indian actor Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala got engaged in an intimate ceremony attended by close family members and friends. However when Naga Chaitanya’s father and veteran south Star Nagarjuna was asked about the hush-hush engagement ceremony he told the Paps that it was all done in haste since it was told by their pandits that 8th August is the most auspicious day for the enegagement to take place.

Both Sobhita and Naga Chaitanya also shared pictures from their engagement in their Instagram Handle. The couple is seen wearing beautiful ethnic outfits sitting in a swing and holding each other’s hand.

About Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala
The couple have been dating for a while now and finally got engaged officially in front of their family members and close friends. Naga Chaitanya was earlier married to popular south actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu, but the couple got divorced after a few years of their marriage.

They announced the news of their divorce in October 2021 citing personal reasons. Samantha and Naga also fell in love during the shoot of a film and decided to tie the knot.
