New Delhi: Another ‘Wedding Season’ is here for you to binge-watch. No, this one is not a Netflix film about an Asian-origin couple, it is a dark-comedy series set with a backdrop of a wedding. The show is a mix of crime, comedy and thrill, and is a ride of joy for viewers.
The web series follows Katie, who on her wedding day is surrounded by the dead bodies of her new husband and his family members. The police think Katie’s lover Stefan did it while Stefan thinks Katie did it. Katie thinks her ex-husband did it and no one knows what the truth is. This leads to Katie and Stefan going on the run, all while trying to prove their innocence. This bizarre comedy show stars Rosa Salazar as Katie along with Gavin Drea, Mohammad Amil Shafi, George Webster, Jade Harrison and others.
The show is directed by Laura Scrivano and George Kane while the screenplay is penned by Darren Johnson and Oliver Lyttelton. Dan Deacon, who is known for his work in various documentaries such as ‘Anecsasion’, has composed the music for the show.
