Plot
Kazuhiro Kitase always possessed a vivid imagination and a creative mind. During his dreams, he would find himself traveling to a different mystical world, exploring its terrains with his elf friend Marie. Each night in his dreams, the duo embarks on a new adventure as they take on the world together.
However, on a day they thought was simple enough while exploring the fantasy world together. Both Marie and Kitase die at the hands of the dragon’s fury. Only to abruptly wake up in the human world in his home in Japan. The duo soon realizes that whenever Kitase falls asleep or dies in the fantasy world, he and anyone he is touching is sent back to Japan.
When they fall back asleep, they can teleport back to the fantasy world. Marie and Kitase try this back and forth. While Kitase helps Marie adjust to the modern life the humans lead, the two set out on adventures each night in the mystical realm of dreams.
They also do this in the hopes of acquiring new people from the mystical world to join them in the human realm.
