“What a woman wears or forgets to wear…”: Kangana Ranaut defends women’s rights, shares throwback pic in white

New Delhi: Actress Kangana Ranaut on Tuesday dropped throwback pics of herself in a white lace spaghetti top and matching trousers while defending women’s right to dress as per their choice.

Taking to her Instagram handle, the actress shared plenty of pics from last year, posing in the backdrop of sun in the stories section as she wrote, “Just emphasising on the fact that what a woman wears or forgets to wear is entirely her business… None of your business”.

In another all-white picture, she wrote, “I think I made the point, I can go to the office now… bye” along with a flying kiss emoji.

She further added another pic of herself alongside filmmaker Razneesh Ghai, wishing him on his birthday. “Happy birthday chief Razneesh Ghai”, she added in the caption. Kangana and Ghai have worked together in action thriller Dhaakad released in May this year.

The pictures shared by the latter belong to a revealing outfit she had donned during a party last year, which had invited a row with a section of social media users criticising her bold look. Diva had opted for sober gold jewellery and nude makeup with the attire and completed her look with her curls tied in a tight bun.

Currently, Kangana is busy with her upcoming period drama Emergency, wherein she will portray the role of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.

Apart from playing lead in the movie, Kangana has also directed the movie which casts other prominent faces including Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhry, and Shreyas Talpade.
