New Delhi: The former MD of BharatPe, Ashneer Grover was not included in the second season of Shark Tank. Famed by Shark Tank 1 and the owner of some popular meme-worthy moments and dialogues, Grover was excluded from this season due to his conflict with BharatPe. But the audiences didn’t have to wait too long before seeing the ever-entertaining Grover in a new show. Grover was accused of embezzlement by BharatPe and then continued to be in the spotlight of controversies post that. As a result, Ashneer and his wife Madhuri Jain had to leave the company. Following this, the makers of Shark Tank India decided to drop him as a judge for the coming season.
Despite all this, Grover made an appearance in the new season of the popular web series TVF’s Pitchers released on 23rd December 2022. Seen in a leading role in this popular show which has a concept that fits Grover well. He had a fun way of posting the trailer on Twitter that started further discussions on the platform. Saying “Jab Tak hai Grover, it’s not over!” The discussion around the show draws implications that since Shark Tank is on the Star Network, Pitchers released on Zee5’s OTT platform.

Grover is a topic of discussion these days also for his book ‘Doglapan’. Having gained popularity on account of his funny one-liners, Grover has continued the banter on Twitter to promote his book. Loved by audiences for his no-nonsense attitude everyone was happily surprised by seeing him on the show. After a very successful first season, the show already has a lot of buzz around it and the presence of Mr. Grover has increased the craze around it.
