When Devil Lurks made its first premiere on September 13th, 2023 at the prestigious  Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). 3 days after that, the horror thriller graced the big screens & received all sorts of reactions from the fans. The film concluded its theatrical run after amassing a sum of USD 2.1 million from the ticket windows for a long while after which, it also made its much-awaited digital debut on the popular streaming platform Amazon Prime Video.

Plot of the Movie

Two small-town natives Pedro Yazurlo and Jaime Yazurlo stumble upon an eviscerated body of a man & learns that the deceased was attempting to bring a sinister evil entity into this world.

Creeped out by the entire ordeal, the brothers then decide to throw away the dead body near the secluded border areas of the town, only to see it vanish in the air right in front of their eyes.

What happens next & how the entire town faces the dreadful consequences for the actions of the deceased man, Pedro, and Jaime is the remaining story of the spine-chilling film.
