New Delhi: The excitement about SRK’s reappearance after four years with Pathaan has the fans unable to contain themselves. The theatres are completely booked, so the shows must be doubled. Several videos of moviegoers dancing, whistling, and becoming all giddy throughout the screening have surfaced. Seeing so much support for the actor is simultaneously chilling and heartwarming. Despite all the opposition and controversy, the movie is doing well in its first week.
The other movies scheduled for release over the next two years may experience the same thing. The following is a list of SRK’s future movies.
1. Jawan
SRK worked with South Indian director Atlee in the film Jawan. Legendary actors Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, and Deepika Padukone are among the cast members of the movie. The movie, which stars SRK in a dual role and has a spine-tingling teaser, is set to be out in June 2023.
2. Dunki
Raju Hirani, a director, and SRK are working together for the first time. Fans will be able to watch the new duo of SRK and Taapsee Pannu. The title of the movie is Dunki, which is how donkey is pronounced in different parts of India. Dunki is built on restricting immigration. The movie is scheduled to come out in December 2023.
3. Hey Ram
Remaking Hey Ram is the only aspirational endeavor for SRK.
Shah has officially purchased the Hey Ram movie rights from Kamal Haasan. The political turbulence that followed Mahatma Gandhi’s murder by Nathuram Godse is the main focus of the movie. But it’s still unclear whether SRK will play a leading role in the movie.
4. Operation Khukri
Shah Rukh Khan, Ayushmann Khurrana, and Rajkummar Rao will play troops in the key parts of the movie Operation Khukri. The movie is based on Operation Khukri, a UN Mission event that took place in Sierra Leone. In the African woods, the 233 Indian Army personnel were cut off and without food for nearly three months. In 2000, the UN peacekeeping deployment degenerated into a battle for human dignity. The Revolutionary United Front (RUF) rebels and Major Punia’s company were engaged in a conflict-like standoff in Kailahun. There is currently no known release date for the movie.
5. Salute
The biopic of former Indian Air Force pilot Rakesh Sharma serves as the basis for the movie. It is rumoured that SRK will star in this movie.
6. Izhaar
SRK will play the major role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s movie Izhaar. The narrative of a man who cycled from India to Norway in search of a girl is based on a true story.
