New Delhi: 74-year-old TV actor Veena Kapoor was rumoured to be murdered by her son, but recently she came out to break the news of her being alive. She lodged a complaint at the Dindoshi police station and addressed the media about the rumours. She was considered dead after some social media handles and her co-actors disclosed the news of her son murdering him using a baseball bat.
Who is Veena Kapoor?
Veena Kapoor is a Mumbai-based veteran television actor. She has worked in various shows such as ‘Mitter Pyare Nu Haal Mureedan Da Kehna’, ‘Dal: The Gang’ and ‘Bandhan Pheron Ke’. The actor also starred in two episodes of the TV show ‘Britz’.
What did she say?
Talking to the media, she said that she is alive and her son did not kill her. She also said that since the rumour spread, she has received various calls and messages consoling her death and she has not been able to concentrate on her work. She added that people stopped approaching her for work, considering she has passed away. Her son Abhishek Chadda said that he felt bad about the rumours and he could not even dream of killing his mother. Abhishek also appealed to people to not spread such rumours on social media.
