New Delhi: In a shocking incident, TV actor Tunisha Sharma died on Saturday (December 24) by suicide on the sets of a TV serial.
Her death news came to light after the Waliv Police received information from the people on the sets that after the tea break, the actress went to the toilet and did not return back. Following which the police broke the door open and found that she had hanged herself.
Who was Tunisha Sharma?
Tunisha Sharma, a 20-year old actress made her acting debut with ‘Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap’. She was also known for her work in shows like ‘Ishq Subhan Allah’, ‘Gabbar Poonchwala’, ‘Sher-e-Punjab: Maharaja Ranjit Singh’, and ‘Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat’.
Tunisha also acted in several Bollywood films like ‘Fitoor’, ‘Baar Baar Dekho’, ‘Kahaani 2: Durga Rani Singh’, and ‘Dabangg 3’.
Tunisha Sharma portrayed young Katrina Kaif in the films ‘Fitoor’ and ‘Baar Baar Dekho’. In ‘Dabangg 3’ with Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha.
Co-star Sheezan Khan arrested
In Tunisha’s death case, Police arrested her Co-star Sheezan Khan in abetment to suicide case. A case under section 306 of IPC has been registered.
He was arrested after Tunisha’s family named Sheezan of troubling her.

Post-mortem completed
In the early hours of Sunday, post-mortem of Tunisha was conducted in JJ Hospital, Naigaon.
According to Police, the mortal remains of the actress was brought to the hospital at around 1:30 am on Sunday.

According to Police, the reason behind TV actor Tunisha Sharma ending her life is could be her breakup with co-actor Sheezan Khan over a fortnight back.
