New Delhi: Beginning on Wednesday, April 03, 2024, the most recent offering from Disney’s Animation, ‘Wish’, will be made available for digital watch. More than four months have passed since the film was first shown in theatres on November 22, 2023, when this release also took place.
One of Walt Disney’s most recent musical animated features is Wish. A star, a mischievous one, descends from the sky to accompany a little girl called Asha in her wish for a star, giving her a more direct response than she had anticipated.
Despite its middling rating, Wish was well-received by viewers. Regardless, the picture bombed at the box office, taking in just $62.75 million domestically against a budget of $200 million.

Story
A star that causes problems descends from the sky to join a little girl called Asha in her desire for a star, giving her a more direct response than she had anticipated.
On the day of her grandpa Sabino’s 100th birthday, 17-year-old Asha gets ready to audition for the position of apprentice to the legendary magician Magnifico, in the hopes that Magnifico would fulfil Sabino’s dream to inspire others. Magnifico denies Asha’s plea to fulfil Sabino’s desire because he views the wish’s elusiveness as a possible danger to his authority.
Asha attempts to grant the request nevertheless since she is determined. Before ascending back to her celestial home, Star bestows a magic wand on Asha, telling her to encourage others to follow their dreams.

The wait will now be over soon as the Disney animation movie will be out on the online streaming platform – Disney Plus Hotstar starting on April 3, 2024.

Jennifer Lee, Allison Moore, Chris Buck, Fawn Veerasunthorn, and Jennifer Lee are the writers of Wish, which is directed by Chris Buck and Fawn Veerasunthorn. The producers behind it are Lancaster-Jone, Juan Pablo Reyes, and Peter Del Vecho.
Wish features voice acting from a stellar cast including Ariana DeBose, Chris Pine, Alan Tudyk, Angelique Cabral, Victor Garber, Natasha Rothwell, Evan Peters, Harvey Guillén, Ramy Youssef, and Jon Rudnitsky.

Disclosed Wish in 2022; production on the film began in 2018. Wish uses unique animation methods that combine the traditional watercolour look of their hand-drawn animated films with contemporary CGI, in addition to sharing certain parallels with Moana and Encanto.
