New Delhi: BLACKPINK’s Jennie Kim has been working on a solo single, titled ‘You & Me,’ which she plans to release soon.
According to YG Entertainment, the new version of the song will be released in October 2023. After the release of ‘SOLO’ in 2018, Jennie has not released another solo album. However, during the BORN PINK global tour, she stunned fans by performing a previously unheard rendition of ‘You & Me’. The September 17 performance in Seoul marked the end of BLACKPINK’s BORN PINK tour.
YG Entertainment announced the new poster and release date for her song ‘You & Me’ on October 4 through the BLACKPINK official Twitter account. Besides the BORN PINK and Coachella renditions, this will be the third different recording of the same song.

On October 6 at 1 PM KST, the exclusive single will be released (9:30 AM IST).
On the promotional poster for You & Me’s special single, Jennie can be seen wearing a seductive red attire, which she complements with hot red shoes and a red ribbon on her wrist. She exhibited her flawless glass skin while finishing off her look with a tinge of red that set it off perfectly.

On August 9, the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP) registered Jennie’s ‘You & Me’. After debuting the single at Seoul’s BORN PINK concert, she released the remix at Coachella Valley Music and Arts, adding a rap verse. ASCAP soon grants performance rights to broadcasters, streaming services, and venues.
