Worst Ex Ever OTT Release Date: After successfully enthralling the fans with the second season of its recently concluded docu-series titled Worst Roommate Ever, Blumhouse TV is all set to roll out another similar promising show titled ‘Worst Ex Ever’.
Scheduled to hit the Netflix screens on August 14th, 2024, the four-episode series will feature an almost identical format to Worst Roommate Ever. However, as the name suggests, instead of focusing on people’s hostile encounters with their roommates, it will dwell deep into the nightmarish experiences of betrayal, violence, and anger they have had with their ex-lovers, girlfriends, boyfriends, etc.
Notably, Cynthila Childs, one of the executive producers of Worst Roommate Ever will serve as the director of its spin-off Worst Ex Ever. The series will see the victims themselves narrating their first-hand experiences in interviews & backing the same with bodycam footage. Moreover, it will also feature 2D animations which will be used for acting out major sections of the stories.

Speaking of Worst Roommate Ever Season 2, the second installment of the show recently concluded after delivering 4 intriguing episodes featuring some hard-hitting accounts of people whose lives were turned into hell by their former roommates.
In the 4 episodes of the series, we saw the story of a woman named Anita Cowen who made the worst decision of her life by taking in a handsome lawyer named Scoot Pettigrew. In addition to that, Worst Roommate Ever also featured the tale of Michal Dedley’s disappearance & its connection with a video that went viral on TikTok.
Worst Roommate Ever Season 3 on Cards?
Meanwhile, with the massive success of Worst Roommate Ever season, the talks regarding its 3rd installment are already all over the internet. Although Netflix has so far maintained a silent stance on the matter, several media reports suggest that the 3rd season of Worst Roommate Ever has been in development since early 2024.
Nevertheless, with Worst Ex Ever gearing up to make its debut on the OTT screens, it is safe to say that the third season of Worst Roommate Ever is not returning to Netflix, at least in the near future.
