New Delhi: The makers dropped the teaser for Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s action-thriller ‘Yashoda’. Samantha will be playing a pregnant lady delivering some fine action sequences in the film. Directed by Hari–Harish, ‘Yashoda’ is said to have a sci-fi action-thriller angle to it and was shot in Telugu and Tamil.
The 1 minute 14 seconds clip shows Samantha getting instructed by the doctor, to avoid certain things like lifting weights and having sound sleep and taking care of her health. Meanwhile, in the exciting montage, she is seen defying all the instructions and going on her action adventures where she has to run away from dogs, does not has proper sleep, and has to fight enemies.
In a short teaser shared earlier, she was seen waking up in a hospital and having no memory of how she got there. The movie looks promising in delivering some ground-breaking action and we have seen Samantha delivering some in ‘The Family Man Season 2’.
The film has Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Unni Mukundan, Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma and Sampath Raj in the cast. Apart from Tamil and Telugu, the teaser of the film was released in Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada as well. The film is also expected to release in these five languages, which is good news for Samantha’s fans pan-India. Produced by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad, the film is presented under the banner of Sridevi Movies.
Samantha will be seen in Gunasekhar’s ‘Shaakuntalam’, in ‘Kushi’ along with Vijay Deverakonda. The actor will also be making her international debut soon with ‘Arrangements Of Love’, where she is playing a bisexual detective.
