New Delhi: Mammotty starrer Telugu political drama Yatra 2, which is based on the life story of Andhra Pradesh’s Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, is available for streaming on OTT.
Following a debacle at the Box Office, the film has made its way on Amazon Prime Video on 12th April (Friday ) where it is available for watching with a basic subscription to the leading digital platform services.
Interestingly, neither Amazon nor the makers of Yatra 2 made any prior announcement about the political film’s digital debut date and instead dropped it silently on Prime Video.

Yatra 2 Box Office Preformence
Yatra 2, made with a rather high budget of Rs 50 crore, hit the theaters on February 8 amid huge expectations but failed to perform decently at the Box Office.
As the film simply retold the already-known life story of CM Jagan, it failed to captivate the Telugu movie enthusiast & eventually nosedived at the ticket windows. It ended its forgettable theatrical run in loss & the same also affected its producers adversely.
Now, with the Mahi V. Raghav flicker finally on OTT, the only home for its makers to expect that the film changes its luck and receives a decent response from the digital audience.
Yatra 2 Plot and Cast
With skilled actors like Mammotty, Jiiva, Ketaki Narayan, Suzanne Bernert, Mahesh Manjrekar, Sachin Khedekar, and Subhalekha Sudhakar in pivotal roles, Yatra 2 circles around the inspiring political journey of YS Jagan, the Cheif Minister Andhra Pradesh.
The movie showcases how Reddy, following the tragic demise of his father (Y S Rajasekhara Reddy), rose to glory from the dust and won over the masses’ trust despite the opposition leaving no stone unturned to spoil his public image.
It is bankrolled under Three Autumn Leaves and is produced by Shiva Meka who got it released on the big screens in February 2024.
