Yo Yo Honey Singh to give a glimpse onto his story; announces Netflix documentary on birthday

New Delhi: Today, on March 15, rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh became a year older. His music has caused a major upheaval in the industry and around the world. The streaming company announced on the occasion that a documentary feature on the journey of hip-hop artist and rapper will be released on Netflix. The project titled “bare-it-all docu-film,” would see Yo Yo Honey Singh delve into life after his abrupt absence at the height of his success stunned the industry and fans, attracting intense media attention.

It will document the rapper’s personal and professional experience, with behind-the-scenes footage from Hirdesh Singh, who is more commonly recognized by his stage name Yo Yo Honey Singh, as well as sit-downs with family members, friends, and music collaborators who have supported him throughout.

Yo Yo Honey Singh claimed he had discussed his personal and career troubles in the public previously but has never been able to “bare it all”. “I have received enormous affection from my followers, and they deserve to know the complete story.

“This Netflix docu-film will provide everybody an authentic and forthright account of my life, my background, where I’ve been, and my present quest to return stronger,” the musician, famous for songs such as “Brown Rang,” “Desi Kalakaar,” and “Lungi Dancing,” said in an announcement.

Mozez Singh directed the film, which was produced by Guneet Monga and Achin Jain of Sikhya Productions, which won an Oscar for “The Elephant Whisperers” last year. Monga stated that she had always wanted to learn more about Yo Yo Honey Singh’s “tumultuous journey with fame,” which had captivated the entire country.
