YouTuber Agastya Chauhan dies in road accident after overspeeding on Yamuna expressway

The fatal accident took place when he was on his way from Agra to Delhi at the 47-kilometre milestone of the Yamuna Expressway.

New Delhi: YouTuber Agastya Chauhan died in a road accident while riding a racing bike at a speed of 300 kmph on the Yamuna expressway. The fatal accident took place when he was on his way from Agra to Delhi at the 47-kilometre milestone of the Yamuna Expressway. Agastya was known for his love for biking but overspeeding on a racing bike led to his death.

According to reports, Agastya’s bike hit a divider and his helmet was crushed, giving him fatal injuries. Reportedly, the medical service was called but he succumbed to his injuries on the spot. UP Police from Tappal police station of Aligarh district reached the spot and took custody of his body. The body was later then sent to the mortuary of Kailash Hospital in Jewar for post-mortem.

Following the incident, Aligarh Police appealed to motorists to drive responsibly and avoid overspeeding.

The YouTuber had been booked under multiple sections of the IPC and the Motor Vehicle Act for performing dangerous stunts on the roads in Dehradun. He made it to the headlines when Dehradun traffic police caught him and 11 others for endangering public safety.

Agastya Chauhan ran a YouTube channel named Pro Rider 1000 and enjoyed a mass following of 1.27 million subscribers. His videos often showed him indulging in a feud with the traffic police for breaking the rules as he rode luxury superbikes. He used to ride bikes at a fast pace and note people’s reactions for his videos.
