New Delhi: Yash Raj Films is set to release the trailer for their upcoming film ‘Pathaan’ on January 10 and reportedly, the production company will unveil the logo of ‘YRF Spy Universe’ along with the trailer. While India has created some successful franchises, in the era of MCU and DC, it is time for creating a cinematic universe. ‘Pathaan’ will be the latest inclusion to YRF’s Tiger and War franchises to create the spy universe.
According to reports, Aditya Chopra has been working to create the YRF’s spy universe to make the biggest franchise in India which includes big names like Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Hrithik Roshan, Katrina Kaif and others. YRF is now looking to brand these spy-genre films under their banner to capture a mass audience. ‘Tiger 3’ will also be a part of the universe.
YRF’s spy thrillers include Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, War and Pathaan. Salman Khan’s cameo as Tiger in ‘Pathaan’ will mark the merger of franchises to build a universe of R&AW spies.
A logo of YRF Spy Universe is making rounds on the internet, however, the official announcement and logo unveiling is yet to happen.

Aditya Chopra has created successful franchises including Dhoom and Mardaani, and the vision of creating a whole universe seems to have something huge stored in the kitty.
‘Pathaan’ stars Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham where SRK plays a spy. The film is directed by Siddharth Anand, who also helmed ‘War’ for YRF. The film is set to release on January 25.
