New Delhi: The Jammu and Kashmir Police on Tuesday said that three magnetic Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) packed in a tiffin box and mounted on a drone were brought down by the Police in the Kanachak area of Jammu near the International Border.
According to reports, the three IEDs were set to three different timings.
The IED was deactivated and defused through controlled explosion.
The drone movement was first observed by in the Dayaran area of Kanachak by the police at 11:00 PM after which action was taken.
The payload contained three magnetic #IEDs packed inside children #tiffinbox with timer set to different timings of 3 hours , 8 hours etc. The #IED has been #deactivated and #diffused through #controlled #explosion. A case has been registered.@JmuKmrPolice
