New Delhi: These days, the temperatures in Delhi are soaring to over 40 degrees Celsius. Most of us are spending our time sitting at home while some are avoiding going out in the afternoon to save ourselves from the heatwave.

1. Nainital

Nainital is a town in Uttarakhand’s Nainital district, famous as a popular hill station. It is also a popular tourist spot in the state, situated in the Kumaon foothills of the outer Himalayas. It is available at a distance of 285 kilometres from New Delhi.

2. Mussoorie

Mussoorie is another preeminent choice of people to visit during the summer season. It has been known as the ‘Queen of the Hills’. The hill station is in the Dehardun district of the Uttarakhand. The distance between it and New Delhi is 290 kilometres.

3. Kasauli

Kasauli is located in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh’s Solan district. It is a cantonment zone established by the British Raj. There are numerous cafes, shopping areas, and mall roads available here. It is around 300 kilometres from the national capital by road.

4. McLeod Ganj

McLeod Ganj famous as ‘Little Lhasa’ is an area of Dharamshala, the winter capital of Himachal Pradesh. Those who also love hiking should definitely visit the hilly area. From New Delhi, it is available at a distance of around 494 kilometres by road.

5. Landsdowne 

It is another famous destination for tourists in the Uttarakhand district. Here, one will witness the beauty of pine forests all around. In a year, it is suggested visiting the Garhwal district town between March to June. Among the above-mentioned tourist spots, we can Landsdowne is closest to New Dehli at about 256 kilometres.
