New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party's (AAP) Shelly Oberoi has been elected as the new mayor of Delhi today with 150 votes. Shelly Oberoi defeated Bhartiya Janata Party's Rekha Gupta by 34 votes. The voting for selecting the new Delhi Mayor started at around 11.30 am and went on for over 2 hours. For the first time, the civic centre met on January 6, second on January 24 and last on February 6. The Delhi municipal elections were held on December 4 and result was announced on December 7 where Aam Aadmi Party managed to win 134 seats out of 250. WATCH
