New Delhi: In a new development in the horrific murder case of Shraddha Walkar, now her acquaintance and social activist Poonam Bidlani said that the victim had approached her three times.
She visited her at her Nalasopara residence to get help after she moved with Aftab in Mumbai’s adjacent Vasai area.
According to sources, it is said that Aftab Amin Poonawala who killed his live-in-partner Shraddha Walkar and chopped her body into 35 parts and stored it in a refrigerator and later disposed of it in different parts of the city would force her to eat non-veg and would beat her when she would resist it.
Bidlani said that she had gone with Shraddha to Tulinj Police Station to file a non-cognisable offence.
She further said that after beating Shraddha, he would go to his parent’s house following which his parents would ask her to forgive him and assure her that Aftab would not do such things again.
Bidlani also recalled that Shraddha was afraid that Aftab might kill her one day.
Earlier, Police had confessed to killing his live-in partner and chopping her body into 35 pieces, was giving misleading answers to questions.
Aftab and Shraddha met each other on the dating site ‘Bumble’ and later moved in together at a rented accommodation in Chhatarpur.
It was only after the Police interrogation which revealed that Aftab Poonawala killed Shraddha on May 18.
