New Delhi: Months after Shraddha Walkar’s deadly murder by live-in partner Aftab Poonawala in the national capital, now a 24-year-old man allegedly killed his live-in partner and stuffed her body inside a fridge at his family’s dhaba.
The man identified as Sahil Gehlot killed his girlfriend who wanted to marry him and married another woman on the same day.
Police said Sahil’s wedding was fixed by his parents on February 9-10, and he did not inform about this to his partner and when she found out about this development, the two had a fight following which he allegedly murdered her.
The accused also said that his family pressured him to get married.
Sahil was arrested by Delhi Police. Sahil, 24 years old is a pharma graduate whose family runs a dhaba in Mitraon village.
While his partner has been identified as Nikki Yadav (24). Niki and Sahil started dating in 2018 and were living in Dwarka.
Niki’s family is in Jhajjar, Haryana, and they too had no idea about her whereabouts.
Special Commissioner of Police (Crime), Ravindra Singh Yadav, said, Sahil, confessed to his crime and said that he killed Niki Yadav on February 9-10.

Meanwhile, the body of the victim has been taken from Rao Tularam Memorial Hospital in Delhi to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital.
