New Delhi: Akhil Akkineni’s extremely unsuccessful yet eagerly awaited flicker Agent is reportedly days away from its OTT Release.
After concluding in theaters with extremely underwhelming collections, the action thriller, after a long gap of about 13 months, is finally set to make its way on its streaming partner SonyLIV by the fall of July 2024. However, an official confirmation about the same is yet to be made by the filmmakers.
About Agent Movie & Its Expected OTT Release Date
In April 2023, Agent, made on a massive budget of Rs 85 crore, hit the big screen surrounded by high expectations & massive fan frenzy.
However, the movie miserably performed at the ticket windows & became subject t0 harsh criticism & trolling by the fans. As a result, it only amassed a lukewarm sum of about 9 crore before nosediving completely at the Box Office.
Following that, SonyLIV came forward and bought the Surender Reddy directorial’s streaming rights for a decent amount of price. Despite this, the film’s digital release date kept getting delayed for one or the other reason, leaving those awaiting the same frustrated and furious.
Nevertheless, now with reports about the Telugu actioner’s expected arrival on SonyLIV in the month of July 2024 all over the internet once again, Akhil’s fans are excited once again while awaiting to watch the movie from the comfort of their homes with bated breath.

Besides starring Akhil Akkineni in the lead role, Agent also features several other actors including Denzil Smith, Vikramjeet Virk, Mammootty, Sakshi Vaidya, and Dino Morea in important roles.
It is produced by the talented duo of Rambrahmam Sunkara and Anil Sunkara under the domains of Surender 2 Cinema and AK Entertainment.
