New Delhi: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is all set to tie knot for the second time with Dr Gurpreet Kaur on Thursday. While Mann’s wedding has been grabbing headlines ever since the news surfaced, his Aam Aadmi Pary (AAP) colleague and Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha emerged out as the person who’s been asked ‘when are you gonna get hitched’.
As a media person facilitate the latter with a similar question, it turned out that the 33-year-old lawmaker was already prepared for an epic come back, and that too in his mother tongue Punjabi to add extra humour.
On Wednesday, a journalist named Aman Singh Chinna on microblogging site Twitter tagged Raghav Chadha along with a piece of report by news agency ANI regarding Mann’s wedding and wrote, “And one thought that Raghav Chadha was the most eligible bachelor in AAP”.
Replying to Chinna, Raghav wrote in Punjabi, “Chhote da number vadde ton baad hi aunda hai. Best wishes to my vadde veer Mann Saab and Dr. Gurpreet Kaur for a happy and blessed married life“, along with a smiling emoji.

However, this isn’t the first time when Chadha’s marriage has become a hot topic on social media. Previously, a woman named Kirti Thakur had proposed him on Twitter in 2019.
In a witty response to Ms Thakur, Chadha had wrote to her, “Sorry Kirti, it’s a bad time to get married considering the state of the economy. Let’s talk again after Acche Din arrive”.
Meanwhile, Punjab CM Mann will get married to Dr Kaur, who is a physician by profession, as per Sikh rituals on Thursday. Delhi CM and AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal along with Raghav Chadha is expected to attend the low key affair.
