New Delhi: Days after the gruesome murder of Amravati’s medical shop owner Umesh Kolhe, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has taken all accused in the custody and will soon produce them before the court.
But, the skeletons keep tumbling out of the closet amid Amravati police’s attempt to play down the ghastly murder, linked to religious extremism. A fresh footage of the Amaravati murder has emerged in which Umesh Kolhe can be seen chased by bike-borne radicals, who can be seen cornering him in a lane and then mercilessly stabbing him to death. Umesh Kolhe was stabbed multiple times by the killers and left bleeding profusely while the murderers flee from the spot. He was taken to hospital but the doctors failed to revive him.
The Amravati police is facing huge public wrath over attempts to do cover-up and questions are being asked as to whose behest the police acted so carelessly and initially described it as robbery incident. Till days back, the murder case was buried but after NIA’s takeover, damning videos are emerging showing the wicked designs of haters.
Kolhe was stabbed to death while returning home on his scooter after closing down medical shop near Ghantaghar in Shyam chowk area on June 21.
7 arrested accused include Muddasar Ahmad (22), Shahrukh Pathan (25), Abdul Taufiq (24) Shoaib Khan (22), Atib Rashid (22) and Yusuf Khan (32) & alleged mastermind Shaikh Irfan Shaikh Rahim.
Kolhe’s murder & Black Freedom connection
Umesh Kolhe was part of a Black Freedom WhatsApp group, where he forwarded a post supporting Nupur Sharma over her controversial remarks on Prophet.
Yusuf Khan, who was Kolhe’s ‘good friend’ and also had family ties with the latter reportedly shared this in other community groups and instigated others to behead him. Yusuf betrayed his friend Kolhe over Nupur Sharma row and became part of the hate-filled group that killed the Amravati pharmacist.
