New Delhi: Mohammad Arbaz, one of the accused in the Umesh Pal murder case was killed today in an encounter by Uttar Pradesh Police.
Arbaz was shot at the Nehru Park in Prayagraj by the Special Operations Group of the Uttar Pradesh Police and the district police.

On Sunday, the Uttar Pradesh Police assured to take action against those who were involved in the Umesh Pal murder.
Lawyer Umesh Pal, one of the prime witness in several cases, was shot dead in Prayagraj’s Sulem Saray area on February 24, while two police gunners were critically injured.
The video of the incident shows that even bombs were hurled at Umesh.

Following the murder of Umesh Pal, his wife filed an FIR with the Prayagraj police. A case was filed under relevant sections of the IPC.
Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Rahil Hasan’s brother Ghulam has also been named in the murder case of Umesh Pal.
