New Delhi: Atiq Ahmad, a gangster-turned-politician whose son Asad was gunned down on Thursday, was killed in firing on Saturday in Prayagraj, according to the reports. Atiq was reportedly transported to Prayagraj while being shot, per the report. Ashraf Ahmad, his brother, also perished. As additional information about the event comes to light, it has been claimed that two to three unknown persons started shooting at them. The funeral services for Atiq Ahmad’s son Asad Ahamd were held on Saturday without Atiq.
