Axis My India, IFC release report on ‘Mann Ki Baat’, Pradeep Gupta talks about impact of PM Modi’s radio show

Media and market research firm Axis My India and Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation lauded PM Modi for his radio show.

New Delhi: Much anticipated 100th episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ earned a lot of appreciation not only across India, but across the globe. Media and market research firm Axis My India and Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation lauded PM Modi for his radio show. Institute for Competitiveness (IFC) released a report, along with Axis My India and Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation on the impact of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ on India.

Talking about the impact of the radio show, Pradeep Gupta, founder & CMD of ‘Axis My India’, said that their study was regarding ‘Mann Ki Baat’ bringing a change in the lives of the listeners. He added that ‘Mann Ki Baat’ has communication, conviction and transformation.

Pradeep told the media that in a village in Betul, Madhya Pradesh got ready to take the Covid vaccine after PM Modi interacted with them. He added that cleaning of beaches in Mumbai, prohibiting open defecation in Ranchi and cleaning polluted water in Goa began after ‘Mann Ki Baat’. Sharing his own experience, he said that PM Modi asked gym goers to travel by foot to save fuel and he changed his habit.

Dr Amit Kapoor, Chairman, Institute of Competitiveness said that the only person to do such a show before was American President Franklin D Roosevelt. Talking about the report, he said that they observed five key things including behavioural change and large number of people involved.

Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation not only brought the researched report, but billionaire Bill Gates also tweeted and lauded PM Modi for his radio show.

The 100th episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ aired on April 30 from 11:00 am onwards. Addressing the public, he thanked his listeners and people working behind the radio. He addressed the issues of ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ and talked about the cultural work done by India and positive approach in Amrit Kaal.
