Bajrang Dal activist Murdered In Karnataka: FIR registered based on victim’s father complaint.

New Delhi: An FIR has been registered in the murder of 26-year-old Bajrang Dal activist Harsha in Dodapetta police station of Karnataka’s Shivamogga. The FIR was registered on Harsha father’s complaint .

He was allegedly murdered on Sunday night in Shivamogga.

According to his father, Harsha on Sunday (February 20), had left home around 8 pm saying he was going for dinner at a hotel. Around, 9.30 pm he received a call saying that some Muslim miscreants had attacked Harsha on NT road near Kamat petrol bunk with lethal weapons.

He said that when he arrived at the spot, Harsha was lying in a pool of blood in the hospital.

What Harsha Brother said?

Praveen, Bajrang Dal activist Harsha‘s brother, said that his brother was an active member of the Sangathan. The victim used to think about Hindus and that is what killed him said his brother.  His brother further said that he want strict to be taken against the culprits.

Dr K Thiyagarajan, DIG Eastern range said that 3-4 persons have been taken into custody in the Shivamogga Bajrang Dal activist ‘murder’ case. He further said that there is a strong believe that this happened due to the previous enmity.

However, the Law & order situation is under control and Further probe is on, he said.

Meanwhile, Karnataka Home Minister Araga Jnanendra said that three have been arrested in the connection to Harsha’s murder. He said that as per the information, over 5 people are involved in the killing.

He also said that, police officials have been asked to analyse the situation and maintain law & order.
