BAPS donated 2,000 hospital beds in Nashik, now named after Pramukh Swami Maharaj & Mahant Swami Maharaj

The two floors of new Nashik Corporation Hospital have been named as ‘Pramukh Swami Maharaj Ward’ and ‘Mahant Swami Maharaj Ward’.

New Delhi: Continuing with its service to the mankind during the fight against Covid-19 pandemic, the Bochasanwasi Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan (BAPS) had donated 2,000 beds to Nashik Municipal Corporation.

Now, the two floors of new Nashik Corporation Hospital have been named as ‘Pramukh Swami Maharaj Ward’ and ‘Mahant Swami Maharaj Ward’.

BAPS hospital wardThe moves comes at a time when BAPS is involved in centenary celebrations of Param Pujya Pramukh Swami Maharaj, the founder of Akshardham temple.

These wards were inaugurated today by Nashik Divisional Commissioner Radhakrishnaji Game, Nashik Municipal Commissioner Dr. Shri Chandrakantji Pulkundwar along with Pujya Kothari Bhaktipriya Swami and Pujya Viveksagar Swami.

During the pandemic & subsequent lockdown, the BAPS & its hundreds of volunteers played pivotal role in providing relief materials to thousands of Covid-contracted patients. Their laudable role in Maharashtra and across the country is before everyone to see.

In Maharashtra, the BAPS provided hospital beds, meals and rations to thousands of needy & deprived lot.
