New Delhi: Income Tax survey in BBC offices in Delhi, and Mumbai continues for the second day. This comes weeks after the UK national broadcaster aired a controversial documentary on Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the 2002 Gujarat riots.
In an email. the BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation) urged all its employees to work from home.
Meanwhile, the opposition parties and press bodies condemned the searches at the BBC offices.
The US said that it is aware of the survey but is “not in a position to offer judgement”.
