Bengaluru Auto driver beats man before robbing him on deserted road, Reddit post goes viral

New Delhi: A Reddit user lately shocked the internet with a post in which he narrated a horrific incident involving his friend who fell victim to a dreadful ordeal at the hands of a Psysco Auto Rickshaw driver who not only assaulted the unfortunate guy but also robbed him of his money.

Narrating the complete details of the bone-chilling incident, the subreddit user named “@Thehound5” wrote that the series of his friend’s misfortune began after he and his decided to hop in a random auto Rikhsa from Silk Board area to go towards Ulsoor at around 10 PM.

In his post, the user said that when their vehicle was passing a remote and dimly lit military area, the driver suddenly stopped his auto-rikshaw and claimed that he needed to take a quick pee break. On hearing that, the narrator’s ill-fated friend also made one of the worst decisions of his life as he walked out of the vehicle and decided to have a pee break as well.

However, while the guy was peeing, the manic driver came out of nowhere and attacked him with all his might. The brutal surprise assault caused both (the rikshaw driver and his victim) to roll down 8-9 feet further down the footpath and into the darkness. Later, even before the poor victim could register anything, the auto driver stood up and began to attack him with punches before proceeding to rob him and the narrator of each and every valuable they had with them. Following that, he also threatened to hit one of the guys with a big stone.

“In a state of shock and pain he begged him to please take whatever he wished to and somehow gathered the courage to scuffle and run as fast as he could in complete darkness,” they added. To make matters worse, heavy rain began to pour down as their friend desperately begged for assistance from anyone passing by. “Finally after which one great and noble soul stopped and helped him in all possible ways to make sure he reached his home.” the user continued. Subsequently, the friend contacted them, instigating several hours of anxiety for everyone involved. Netizen’s fumes in anger

Soon after the distressing post went viral on the internet, netizens took to the comment sections and suggested the user get help from the local police. While many bashed the auto driver saying that he would rot in hell for his actions, others engaged in the conversation by sharing their own smiler experiences with the auto-rickshaw drivers.

Commenting on the same, one user wrote, “Contact u/St_Broseph right away, he will help you in figuring out what can be done to put that pathetic excuse of a human behind bars.”
