In the viral video, one can see four bike-borne attackers encircling Charan’s car and making him hit the break by standing in front of the vehicle. A woman (Charan’s wife) is then also heard yelling at her husband not to get out of the car while begging him to call the cops.
Scared for his and his family’s life and safety from the group of accused men, the driver of the car is then seen hitting the gas aggressively as his vehicle starts moving and rams against a scooter parked ahead of it by one of the attackers.
Fortunately, the family later managed to escape the life-threatening situation by fleeing from the scene in their car and safely reaching Sarjanpur Police Station where they lodged a formal complaint against the aggressors, accusing them of assaulting & harassing them with the intent of extorting money.

Later, Bengaluru police registered an FIR against 4 of the accused persons based on Singh’s complaint & dashcam footage and booked 4 of them under sections 341, 504 & 506 of the Indian Penal Code 1860.
The officials also arrested two of the 4 accused while conforming that they were under the influence of alcohol when the incident took place. However, they are yet to find any evidence establishing that Singh was extorted by these persons and the probe is still underway.
