New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Bhagwant Mann was hit on his face by a sharp object on Friday while campaigning for the Assembly elections in Punjab. The incident happened at Amritsar’s Attari road when AAP’s chief ministerial face for the state was out on the streets canvassing for upcoming polls.
While Mann was waving & greeting people across the streets, he was hit by an object on his face. Apparently shaken by the hard-hitting object, he could be seen holding his some face for sometime. The entire incident was caught on camera.
People gathered on both sides of roads in large numbers were showering flower petals on the AAP chief ministerial candidate. Amid the deluge of flowers by his supporters, some miscreant in the gathering took the opportunity to hurl pointed object at the AAP leader.

Bhagwant Mann lost his balance for sometime due to the injury and sat in his vehicle for sometime.
The shocking incident has generated fresh concern of candidates security during the campaign trail. As per AAP sources, the matter will soon be reported to police for investigation.
