Bihar Deputy CM Tejashwi seen playing badminton, Bollywood actress gives him ‘company’ in game (VIDEO)

New Delhi: Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav was on Wednesday seen playing badminton in the courts and giving him company in the game was a well-known Bollywood actress Neetu Chandra.

Tejashwi, himself being a former cricketer, often takes to cricket pitch in free time. This time, as he tried hands at Badminton, he also shared the video of same on his Twitter handle.

Tweeting a small clip from the game, the leading Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader said that he was honoured to play badminton game with Bihar’s daughter & a leading cinestar of the Hindi film industry.

He wrote that sports not just oneself physically & mentally agile but also helps develop a good personality & character besides inculcating the leadership qualities & team spirit.

Moments later, the actress retweeted the video clip and said that people of Bihar are safe & satisfied as the reins of power lies in his hands. She also stated that Bihar’s sports policy being passed in just 6 months, was a testimony of state govt’s efficient governance.

“You are a fabulous player na team player hence a WINNER. Many thanks for inviting me,” Neetu Chandra wrote.


Tejashwi, a votary of sports culture in people’s daily lives, has often spoken about its importance & how it enriches the mental & physical faculties.

His fondness for sports is well-known. In a couple of previous instances, he was seen playing cricket at the government bungalow with his support staff and house helps.

Last month also, the RJD leader had shared a video where he was playing cricket with a couple of youths.
