New Delhi: Microsoft Co-founder Bill Gates took to Twitter to extend his congratulations to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the completion of 100 episodes of Mann Ki Baat.
Sharing a report on Mann Ki Baat, Microsoft co-founder tweeted that ‘Mann Ki Baat’ has aided community-led action on sanitation, health, women’s empowerment and other issues linked to the Sustainable Development Goals.

Mann Ki Baat is PM Modi’s radio initiative which airs a new episode every month. Through this radio broadcast, Narendra Modi addresses the nation and talks about ongoing policies and social issues.
The first episode of PM Modi’s radio initiative was aired on the 3rd of October 2014. The program is aired on All India Radio and Doordarshan every last Sunday of each month at 11 AM.
Tomorrow i.e. 30th April, the 100th Episode of the Prime Minister’s radio address would be aired at 11 AM.
Most importantly, the centenary episode of Mann Ki Baat will also be aired live at the UN headquarters in New York at 1:30 AM. In addition, UN Trusteeship Council Chamber will broadcast Mann Ki Baat’s 100th episode.
Calling it a historic moment, India’s permanent mission at the UN announced via a tweet that the 100th episode of PM Modi’s Mann Ki Baat radio show will be broadcasted live on April 30th at the United Nations New York headquarters at the Trusteeship Council Chamber at 1:30 AM.

Additionally, for Indian American diaspora in New Jersey, the Consulate General of India to New York will also be broadcasting the 100th episode of the PM’s monthly radio program. This would be aided by other community organizations as well.
