New Delhi: BJP leader and actress Sonali Phogat died of heart attack in Goa. She had complained of uneasiness to her staff and was rushed to the hospital. She was 42.
Her post mortem is being conducted in a local hospital in the presence of police. Also, her parents have left from their village for Goa.
According to the Police, Sonali Phogat was brought dead to a hospital in Goa today (August 23, Tuesday).
It is said that Phogat suffered a heart attack at a hotel where she was staying in Anjuna in the city.
Meanwhile, Jivba Dalvi, Deputy SP, Bambolim said their inquiry is underway.

Hours before her sudden death, the Bigg Boss Season 14 contestant had updated her Twitter profile picture. In the new picture, she can be seen flaunting her pink dupatta.

She had also shared a video of herself on Instagram hours before her death.

In the last Assembly election she had contested as a BJP candidate from Adampur Assembly constituency against Kuldeep Bishnoi.
She had risen to fame after her TikTok videos had gone viral.
In 2020, her video where she was seen thrashing a Market Committee Official in Hisar had gone viral. In the same year she had also participated in the reality show ‘Bigg Boss.’
