BJP MP cleans toilet with bare hands at girls’ school in MP’s Rewa, VIDEO goes viral

The lawmaker had gone to the school to participate in a tree plantation drive organized by the Yuva Morcha under the Seva Pakhwada program.

New Delhi: While Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) observes Seva Pakhwada (a fortnight of community service) as part of PM Modi’s birthday celebrations, party leaders are going out of the way to help improve the lives of fellow citizens.

Janardan Mishra, the BJP MP from Madhya Pradesh’s Reva has become talk of the town for going beyond the call of duty in bolstering the Seva drive. The BJP MP cleaned a toilet at a girl’s school in Madhya Pradesh’s Khatkhari with bare hands, the video of which has gone viral on social media.

Under the Seva Pakhwada program from Sept 17 – Oct 2, the party is running regular campaigns to promote cleanliness & tree plantation drive.

Mishra also shared the video on his Twitter handle and wrote, “Under the Seva Pakhwada being run by the party, Yuva Morcha cleaned the toilets of the school after the tree plantation program in the Girls’ School, Khatkhari.”

Lot many people on the social media are talking about BJP MP giving up his privilege and cleaning the toilets like any other sanitary worker.

The lawmaker had gone to the school to participate in a tree plantation drive organized by the Yuva Morcha under the Seva Pakhwada program.

After taking part in plantation drive, when the Parliamentarian got to know about the dirty toilets, he reached there and started cleaning it without any hand gloves. In the video, he could be seen cleaning the toilet by himself.

Janardan Mishra is a strong votary of Clean India Campaign and has been setting examples for past few years.

During Covid-19 outbreak in the state also, he cleaned dirty toilet at a Covid-19 care centre in MP’s Rewa district.

In 2018 alos, a video of his cleaning the toilet of a primary school in his Lok Sabha constituency went viral on the social media. He has also been seen cleaning the streets of his constituency.
