New Delhi: BJP releases first list of candidates for the Telangana Assembly elections. According to sources, the list has 20 candidates from backward classes, 14 candidates from the scheduled caste and scheduled tribes and six from the Velama community. BJP also gave nod to the Jana Sena Party to fight from 12 Assembly constituencies as a part of Pre Poll alliance.

The party has also revoked the suspension of Telangana MLA T Raja Singh after he was issued a show cause notice by the party on his remarks against Prophet Mohammad. MLA T Raja Singh was suspended in August and was issued a Show cause notice by the Disciplinary Committee of the party.

The Polls are scheduled to be held on November 30th and there are total 52 candidates in the list. Party MPs Soyam Bapu fielded from Boath, Arvind Dharampuri from Koratla and Bandi Sanjay from Karimnagar and T Raja Singh from Goshamahal.
