New Delhi: Bollywood actor and BJP leader Mithun Chakraborty held a roadshow in the Majlishpur Assembly constituency of Tripura ahead of the state assembly polls. Addressing the public meeting, he said that BJP has done good work in the state and claimed that the party will come into power again. As Chakraborty flew off to Tripura, he was joined by party vice president Dilip Ghosh and West Bengal BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari. He also claimed that the party is not anti-Muslim. While he was at the airport, the actor said that BJP was never anti-minority and the party wants the betterment of India's Muslims. His remarks invited backlash from TMC who alleged that BJP is trying to do communal politics for votes and that if they actually want better for Muslims, then they should remove the CAA and NRC.
