New Delhi: A day after Punjab Police claimed to have busted a Pakistan ISI-backed terror module and arrested four persons, now a suspicious item was recovered from a car parked near the residential complex.
In the CCTV footage, two unidentified persons can be seen allegedly placing bomb under the car of a sub-inspector of Punjab police in Amritsar
Meanwhile, the bomb has been recovered by the Police and the area has been cordoned off and further investigation is underway.
Currently, the cop Dilbagh Singh is posted in the CIA cell of Amritsar police.
The bomb detection and disposal squad soon rushed to Amritsar’s Ranjit Avenue after which the vehicle was removed from the spot.
According to IG Sukh Chan Singh Goll, the device could be a detonator
